The Boston Bruins’ 2020-21 season has come to an end and now it’s time to start looking towards the future. Will rental impending free agent Taylor Hall sign a new deal with his new squad? Will longtime Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask leave town or stay put? Nothing’s set in stone, but it’s clear that both players at least want to stay in Beantown.

Speaking with the media on Friday, both players expressed interest in remaining teammates for at least next season. Let’s start off with Hallsy, who kept things rather short and to the point when asked about his future with the team.

Hall, 29, was traded to the Bruins at the deadline and delivered results quickly with six goals and eight assists in 16 regular season games before adding three goals and two assists in the playoffs. Tuukka, who played through a torn labrum in his hip, is set to undergo surgery and will reportedly be out until at least January. Still, the 34-year-old remains keen on remaining with the B’s.

And then dropped this epic quote…

The Bruins have just $373,569 in cap space with David Krejci’s deal also coming to an end. It seems unlikely the team will be able to sign all three but we’ll have to just wait and see.
