Terrell Owens is 44-years-old and about to be enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame, but he recently showed that he still has the speed to play football.

Not too long after said video went viral, the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL placed Owens on its negotiation list and on Monday, news broke that Owens is speeding up the process of potentially playing in the CFL.

Owens reportedly invoked his 10-day clause on July 14th, meaning the Eskimos now have a 10-day window to make Owens a contract offer or release his rights.

The same thing happened with Johnny Manziel before he signed with the Ticats and the CFL actually extended that window in order to evaluate Manziel.  In the end, though, he signed a deal and fans are excited about the prospect of TO coming to play north of the border.

The ball is now in Edmonton's court and as much as we can't wait to see what the Eskimos do.
