The Columbus Blue Jackets are back at home for a three-game home stand after playing their previous three games on the road, but with a two-day break in between games the guys made the most of their time off.

With it being Hockey Fights Cancer month in the NHL, the entire team hopped on a bus and made a trip down to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital and spent the day with patients and their families.

Teams and the players are always finding different ways to get out into the community and give back to those who need it the most, but usually when we see teams make a visit to the hospital it’s usually a handful or two of players, not the entire roster.

A simple visit goes a very long way.
