Hockey players are a superstitious bunch

Whether it’s the order players put their equipment on, the way they tape their sticks, their pregame meal, their playoff beards, or making sure they never touch a trophy before they win it- there’s a superstition for pretty much everything in hockey.

If you’ve ever been in a hockey locker room, you know that stepping on the team logo - that’s always placed smack dab in the middle of the room - is the ultimate faux-pas.

This is tough enough in most dressing rooms, so you could imagine that NHL rooms - with media and personnel galore - are even tougher.

The Boston Bruins have figured out a way to avoid that cringe-worthy moment when someone steps on the logo, and honestly, it’s pretty innovative.

Yup. They put it on the ceiling.

Good luck stepping on it now, trolls.

People have been commenting that they like this idea, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see other teams follow suit.

Now they just have to fix the leg room in the arena.
