Okay, so we already know that the Bruins will be rocking an old school uniform for this year’s Winter Classic at Nore Dame against the Chicago Blackhawks. But rumour has it that they might also be bringing back a separate vintage sweater for the upcoming season.
Bruins CLNS host Jimmy Murphy reports that though not yet confirmed, the team will be rocking their classic ‘B’ sweaters from the 80’s and 90’s. These ones are a bit more simple than the current uniforms and clearly have a vintage look to them.
Hubba hubba! Fans are obviously thrilled with the news.
A lot of Winnipeg Jets fans will look at these bad boys and only dream about what could have been for their franchise. Instead of sticking to their slick heritage classic unis from 2016, the organization chose to go with a more simple design that didn’t exactly get the best feedback from fans.
The Avs chose to stick to their roots as well.
Again, nothing’s confirmed yet, but the B’s are going to look fantastic on the ice if this is in fact the case. Between this, their regulars, and the Winter Classic Jersey they’ll be wearing in a few months’ time, Bruins fans will have lot of sweaters to choose from to rock at games this year.
