Flames fans had something to look forward to this week (aside from preseason hockey) as the team announced earlier this week they'd be unveiling their third jersey.
The Flames had a number of different routes they could have gone for their third jersey and the one they settled on was a classic that hockey fans love.
The retro 1989 Stanley Cup Championship jersey is one of the most iconic in NHL history and we, along with fans, are incredibly happy it's making a comeback.As awesome as that jersey is, some people were hoping to see a different one make a return.
