The Vancouver Canucks are going all out for their 50th season and giving fans a ton of blast from the past moments. While throwback jerseys and retro nights are one way of doing it, the most meaningful likely comes from the return of 'Nucks legends. There was no greater example of that than Monday night.

With Daniel and Henrik Sedin set to be honoured this week, the fans were treated to an extra special affair with "Legends Night". In addition to the twins, Stan Smyl, Trevor Linden, and Markus Naslund were all in attendance as well.

The Canucks honoured them in an extra special way, revealing new era-specific banners to honour players based on the the colours they're famous for wearing.

The Legends also took time to discuss what the night meant to them, and how much of an honour it was to be back.

The Canucks certainly haven't cheaped out on the past appreciation, and you can expect a lot more before the year is done.
