The Devils have narrowed their new goal song to eight options, and you can vote on them

Would the St. Louis Blues have won the Stanley Cup if “Gloria” wasn’t their goal song?

Maybe, but it definitely helps a team to have a goal song that brings the crowd together. It makes scoring goals more fun, and for an underdog team trying to scrap their way to the top it’s important that the team and their fans have a strong connection. Sometimes that connection is strengthened through songs!

The New Jersey Devils are taking this very seriously in choosing their new goal song, and they’ve narrowed it down to eight choices. As should be the case, they’re letting the fans decide from there. On Friday, the Devils will reveal the top three choices, so make sure you get your vote in now!

The songs are as follows:

“Hey Baby” – DJ Otzi

“Whoomp! (There it is)” – Tag Team

“Hip Hop Hooray” – Naughty by Nature

“Ole” – The Bouncing Souls

“I Wanna Rock” – Twisted Sister

“Born to Run” – Bruce Springsteen

“Howl” – The Gaslight Anthem

“Don’t Stop Me Now” – Queen
