What a special night for Tyce Thompson!

The New Jersey Devils forward made his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Luckily for him, it was against his older brother and Sabres forward Tage Thompson!

Tage may have won the sibling rivalry with a 5-3 win over New Jersey but Tyce has more than enough to be proud of. Just four minutes into the first period, Tyce put the puck on net only for Damon Severson to pick up the rebound for the first goal of the game.

The Devils rookie became the first player in the NHL to record his 1st career point in 69 seconds or less since February 2 1986!

Welcome to the NHL, Tyce!
