The Vegas Golden Knights kicked off their first-ever NHL preseason a couple of nights ago in Vancouver and they were back at it again in Colorado on Tuesday night.

Just like they did ahead of their pre-season opener against the Canucks, the team decided to have some fun with their opponent’s starting line ahead of the game.

It turns out the Avalanche’s starting lineup for Tuesday night was very similar to the Canucks’ lineup on Sunday.

After scoring nine goals in their preseason opener, the social media team got a little antsy after the game remained scoreless after the first 30 seconds.

However, the Golden Knights did manage to strike just under five minutes later and they were pretty excited about the opening goal of the game.

The team added two more goals before the end of the frame, and each goal tweet was better than the previous one.

They don't care if it’s preseason or the middle of the season, they’re going to put all their energy into their tweets regardless of how old the season is.

The team failed to score in the second period, but their social media team found some other ways to keep fans entertained, like taking friendly shots at the Avs and their fans.

Since the team’s social media team tends to have more fun when they’re ahead, we’re really hoping the Golden Knights have a very successful inaugural season.
