The next major event for hockey fans to mark down on their calendars once the Stanley Cup final ends is the NHL Awards from Vegas on June 21st.
Aside from awards for the 2016-17 being given out, the Vegas Golden Knights will be announcing their expansion draft picks, and fans of every hockey team will be interested in those picks as Vegas will be taking players from the other 30 teams.
There are 11 days for hockey fans to get caught up on all the rules and intricacies regarding the expansion draft, and teams are doing their best to educate their fans before the draft in an interactive way.
The Ducks, however, probably would have never expected the Golden Knights to respond with a question about the expansion draft that fans absolutely loved.
The Golden Knights haven't played a game yet and don't even have five players in their organization, but they may have one of, if not the best Twitter account in the NHL.
The Ducks' Twitter account is also in the best in the league conversation, so it's no surprise they responded to the question.
"A" for effort on Vegas' part, but they'll have to wait until June 18th to see which players teams are protecting.
