Ever since the Sedins announced their retirement, it’s all that has been on the minds of many hockey fans and another emotional moment happened on Tuesday night.

It’s not their final game in Vancouver (They play the Coyotes in Vancouver on Thursday night), but it was the first game on home ice since the twins’ announcement that they would be retiring at the end of the year. The Golden Knights ended up winning the game, but aside from the fact that the Canucks probably don’t mind missing out on a point, all anybody really cared about was the Sedins.

They skated around the ice as the crowd gave them a lengthy standing ovation and the Golden Knights joined in saluting the Canucks legends. It was a classy move by them to stand aside, let them have their moment and even line up for handshakes with Hank and Daniel.

It just goes to show you the impact these two had on the NHL during their time in Vancouver.

It should be even more emotional on Thursday night when they play their final game at home. Honestly, these last two games will probably be like a mini-Jeter tour for the Sedins, because of the amount of respect they have with other players around the league.

They’ve certainly earned it.

How big of an impact did the #Sedin twins have on the league? 🔥🤔
