The Vegas Golden Knights made the biggest move ahead of the trade deadline acquiring Mark Stone from the Ottawa Senators and signing him (reportedly, can't be completed until March 1st).
Stone is just 26-years-old and is in the midst of a career-year. Coming off of a loss in the Stanley Cup Final last season, Stone could be the missing piece that gets Vegas over the hump this time around and for years to come. Golden Knights fans are already anxious to see Stone in the lineup and the team gave him the ultimate surprise welcome upon landing in Vegas.
No other team brings out the welcoming wagon like the Golden Knights and you could tell Stone was not only surprised, but happy to see the welcoming committee.It will be fun to see who Stone plays with in Vegas and we could find that out on Tuesday if he makes his debut against the Stars.
