Monday is a significant day in the hockey world!

Nashville Predators prospect Luke Prokop proudly came out publicly as a gay man. The 19-year-old made the announcement on his social media Monday morning, becoming the first player under NHL contract to come out as gay.

The Calgary Hitmen defenceman was a third round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and is expected to be at training camp for the Preds this summer. The entire hockey community is behind you, Luke!
