There's on All-Star weekend in hockey that stands out above the rest and that's the KHL's All-Star week.  The players put a lot of creativity and fun into making the event an enjoyable experience for everyone each and every year, and it always starts with the jerseys.

Thursday, the league revealed its jerseys that will be used for the All-Star week and they have a very obvious holiday feel to them.

They may seem like Christmas colours on the surface, but there's a much deeper meaning to the specific colours that were chosen, as per the KHL (and Google Translate):

KHL continued the tradition of the past two years and used the colors of the host region, which became the main design of the equipment of the stars of three Leagues. The main task that was solved was to find a non-standard combination of colors with a strong binding to the concept.

Black, red, green and white were added to the colors of the national flag of the Republic of Tatarstan, resulting in two pairs of opposite colors: red and green fill the form with bright colors, black and white create the necessary contrast.

Jerseys for the MHL Challenge Cup and ZHL All-Star game were also released and they look just as awesome!
