The Seattle Kraken’s inaugural roster was selected on Wednesday night and they had some of the players in attendance to show off the jerseys and welcome them to their new home.

The six members that were at the expansion draft were Mark Giordano, Chris Driedger, Jamie Oleksiak, Haydn Fleury, Jordan Eberle and Brandon Tanev, and they got right into the team bonding activities the following night.

On Thursday, the six players were special guests at the Seattle Mariners game and they all had the honour of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

Giordano’s pitch ended up being a little off but the players got a very warm welcome from their new fans who are ready to cheer them on come hockey season.

The team isn’t set in stone for the upcoming season just yet, but you can count on seeing these six faces in the roster night in and night out this year.
