The Los Angeles Lakers returned home to Hollywood on Friday after dropping their first game of the season to the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 129-119.

Despite the loss, LeBron James, making his Lakers debut still poured in a typical LeBron-esque performance with 26 points and 12 rebounds.

With LeBron gearing up to play his first home game on Saturday night against the Houston Rockets, you can guarantee that celebrities from Southern California will be making their way to Staples Center to see King James in action throughout the season.

When LeBron and company made their back to LA and practiced at Staples Center on Friday, they were greeted by Grammy Award-winning artist and 2018 Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar, who hails from Compton, California.

Even though the Lakers weren’t exactly humbled by the loss, there’s a strong chance someone on the team would’ve said “Damn” or some sort of variation after dropping their first game of the season by a ten-point margin.

LeBron mentioned post-game that it’s going to take some time for the young and talented squad that includes Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram.

One the team gels with LeBron, this team could be a force with a bunch of kids in a mad city.
