Turns out the New York Islanders are using their Fisherman logo after all folks.

Following the release of the NHL’s 31 Reverse Retro jersey’s, the New York Islanders decided to extend the nostalgic trip for their fans with the release of gear inspired by their Fishermen logo in partnership with Herschel Supply Co.

Coming in the form of backpack, cap and beanie, we are loving how the logo is being complemented by navy blue, bright orange and that strong aquamarine blue.

Originally, the Islanders debuted their new Reverse Retro jerseys with their current club’s logo, a logo the team hasn’t stepped far from since their inaugural season in 1972.

In response to the NHL’s Reverse Retro jerseys, fans online commented on how they would have liked to see the Islander’s use their mid 1990’s iconic Fisherman logo for the reboot.

Well no need to fret Islanders fans, because at the end of the day, the Islanders came through with some sick gear.

Honestly, give us more of the Fisherman logo, the world needs more Fisherman logo.
