The Penguins and Flyers have one of the best rivalries in hockey on the ice and off of it, too.
On Monday, the Flyers unveiled their new mascot Gritty and among the many reactionary tweets to the new mascot, the Penguins decided to take a shot at Gritty thus officially including him in the battle of Pennsylvania.
A good shot fired by the Pens, but based on its name alone, you had to know Gritty wasn't just going to sit back without responding. If that doesn't give the Penguins nightmares, nothing will, and believe us when we say the Pens aren't going to be the ones sleeping with one eye open tonight and beyond. (H/T: Pittsburgh Penguins)
