The Pittsburgh Penguins are going back to black.
The organization announced Wednesday morning that they are bringing back their iconic away jersey’s from the 90s. Remember when the Penguins travelled with the yellow diagonal "PITTSBURGH" stitched on the front? Well get ready to see it come back to life this 2021-2022 season!
The team released a teaser video of their third jerseys on their social media this morning and we have to admit, we’re pumped.
The Penguins will hit the ice in these new jerseys for 12 home games, beginning on December 11 against the Anaheim Ducks.
It looks like these are an all-time favourite for Pens fans!
Way to give the people what they want, Pittsburgh!
