The highly anticipated fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz has come and gone, and The Rock (of all people) found himself right in the middle of it. Quite literally.
While he may appear neutral in this stoic stance, The Rock did have a bit of a horse in the race in Masvidal. Both grew up in Miami, knowing some of the same fighters, trainers, and gyms. After Masvidal took care of business and earned a doctor’s stoppage by way of cuts under Diaz’s eye, Diaz made some entertaining comments to do with The Rock’s allegiance.

That’s quite a call out, although Diaz does seem to be having fun with it more than anything. Also appearing to find the remarks comical was The Rock himself. He joined Ariel Helwani to discuss the reaction he had after hearing Diaz’s remarks.
Now THAT bout would put up some ratings.
