Hockey players are known for their on-ice creativity, and are second to none when it comes to nicknames for teammates. Everyone usually gets their nickname either by an action, status level or an inside joke within the team. But what if three guys have the same last name? And both of them have the same nickname?

Enter the Ottawa Senators, who now have three players in the same last name in Connor, Logan and Josh Brown. But here's where things get confusing

According to Matt Tidcombe, Logan goes by Logie, but Connor and Josh share the same nickname in Brownie, and will have to figure out who gets to keep the name.

Some fans have chimed in with some ideas for names as well:

One fan referenced the Maple Leafs, and their nickname issue with goaltender Jack Campbell, and forward Ilya Mikheyev, Who both share similar nicknames in Soup and Souperman respectively.

Picking a new nickname might be the easiest part. But making sure the nickname sticks when you’re on the ice is the real learning curve.
