This winter has been plentiful in awe-inspiring ODR views, but this one might top them all.

First there was the ODR on the Eiffel Tower, then there was the Winter Classic game in Budapest, now it’s a pond hockey at the Great Wall of China. Jonathon Ralph, a teacher in Hong Kong, sent us some video and images and, well, get ready to add another item to your hockey bucket list.

The tournament is in its fifth year, and it is run by a Canadian owned hockey and lifestyle company in Beijing called 'Can Life Sports and Entertainment.'

The Great Wall trip was a followup to the main tournament which featured 20 teams with about 200 players from around China and included expatriates from Canada, USA, Finland, Japan, and other countries.

While the tournament has been traditionally held in the heart of Beijing, 'Can Life Sports and Entertainment' is trying to move it to the Great Wall next year.

Watching the video, the ice quality was pretty smooth and made for a good tournament. It will be interesting to see if people try to turn this into a more official tournament. Just for the views alone, it would definitely be worth it.

And here we thought it was a big deal when we got to play on top of a building in Toronto.
