There's a lot on the line for the Sabres in Game 7 between the Blues and Stars

We've got not one, but two Game 7s in the second round of the NHL playoffs and the first of the two goes down Tuesday night in St. Louis as the Blues battle the Stars.

A ton is on the line for both teams (obviously) as the Stars haven't made it to the Conference Final since the 2007/08 season and the Blues haven't made it that far since the 2015/16 season. These two teams aren't the only franchises that will be impacted by the result of this game, though.

9 or 10 draft positions on the line tonight for the #Sabres

If Blues win: 28th or higher

If Blues lose: 18th or 19th (Depends on Sharks result)

St. Louis ends up with the 19th pick if the Avalanche lose to the Sharks in Game 7 of their series. If Colorado wins, then the Blues' pick slides down to the 18th overall slot. #Sabres

The montour trade actually. Ducks get the sharks pick unless the blues pick ends up in 20’s and in that case they get to choose between the two. The only way that happens is if the blues make it to the WCF

Who would have though Sabres fans would ever have to put their faith in or cheer on the Stars (foot in the crease anyone?), but it seems like they'll have to do it tonight.

Thankfully Ben Bishop is between the pipes for the Stars and he hasn't lost in a Game 7 in his career.

For those wondering, Ben Bishop has played in two Game 7's and is 2-0. They occurred in 2014-15 against Detroit in the 1st round and the NY Rangers in the 3rd round and both were shutouts. #GoStars
