Expansion has been a hot topic in the CFL and last November, it was reported that a group of businessmen made a presentation to the league's board of governors with the hopes of bringing football to Halifax.
While we're not sure what the timeline is and when we can expect to see a team in Halifax, what's clear is there is interest to have a tenth CFL franchise in Atlantic Canada and the wheels might be in motion to make that happen.
Back in December, a potential team name was registered for a CFL team in Halifax, but by no means is that an official name. With that in mind, an Instagram account by the name of cflinhalifax decided to make concept jerseys and team names for an Atlantic Canadian football team.
The Halifax Admirals might be our favourite, but it's a tough call because all of the names and concept jerseys are well thought out.
