It’s that time of year again, the time that football players begin to adjust to the colder climates that may last out the rest of the season. Teams do this in different ways, including running very unique drills, but it’s all in preparation of the elements. That’s because you never know what’s going to happen – even if it means a snowball fight.

In a game between the Utah Utes Tribe and the Colorado Buffaloes, the ref blew his whistle for what appeared to be a non-game reason. Turns out, he was essentially blowing his whistle at the stands where fans were apparently shaping snowballs and tossing them onto the field.

He’s right in the way that he addresses the fans, as snowballs have no place in the game of football. However, it’s hard not to crack a little smile when a referee is addressing the crowd to do with ceasing such an innately childish activity.

No word on how he’d rule it if it were the players throwing snowballs, it’s too bad JuJu Smith-Schuster isn’t in the game.

S’no problem.
