Anaheim Ducks forward Patrick Eaves didn’t have to do a whole lot in preparation for his Halloween costume this year.

The ‘holiday’ landed on a Wednesday so while some players celebrated last weekend, others are using the second half of the week to show off their outfits. Eaves decked himself out in a nifty dress and some fancy makeup, but the main part of his look required no trip to the costume store or any work at all to be honest. Who’s a more fitting dude in the league to go as a bearded lady than the beard master himself?

Okay, so fellow NHLers Brent Burns, Joe Thronton (before he shaved) and Ryan Ellis all could have rocked this one as well, but we’re going to go ahead and say Eaves’ ranks #1 on our list. That thing has clearly been growing out for years!

Eaves' ranks as ONE of the best from this year, but there are still a couple of others worth mentioning. How about Ben Bishop, who took things a bit further with his Beast costume from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast?

Or Connor McDavid who had his own little beard painted onto him when he dressed as Homer Simpson?

While these stand as a few of the best, there are a couple of fan costumes that also deserve some credit.

Eaves made his way back into the Ducks’ lineup after missing most of last season due to post-viral syndrome and a shoulder injury, so it’s all smiles right now from the guy. Even if you can barely see it under all that hair!
