Traditionally, a dunk contest is supposed to be an exhibition of the types of creative, jaw dropping dunks that high flyers can perform outside of an in-game scenario. But apparently in the B-League in Japan all a contestant has to do is exhibit that they can in fact dunk.

Canadian basketball player and former Lakers centre Robert Sacre was competing in the 2018 B-League dunk contest when he failed to throw down a simple windmill dunk. After getting stuffed by the rim in his first attempt, Sacre settled for a standard two-handed dunk and was given an incredibly generous score.

Yeah that was scored a 45. A regular two-handed dunk received five 9s! Just a quick reminder that Larry Nance Jr. received just a 44 for this dunk were he emulated his father's high flying rim rocker.

If Sacre had done that in the NBA dunk contest, Shaquille O'Neal would've left his seat and personally escorted him off the court.
