It’s playoff hockey in Winnipeg and you know what that means…

Jets fans across the city have been playing their part by dressing head-to-toe in white attire. The action has been crazy inside of Bell MTS place, but arguably more berserk outside of it, as fans have crowded together to support their team in all sorts of wacky outfits. While the action was going on during the first two games in ‘The Peg,’ photographer Manuel F Sousa managed to snag a fantastic photo of a fan holding a clever Matthew McConaughey sign.

If you’re confused about the reference, you need to go back to 1993 when the actor played the role of Wooderson in the cult classic Dazed and Confused.

The guy even included the words after winning Best Actor in a leading role for Dallas Buyers Club in 2014.

Sousa managed to capture some other incredible moments from Winnipeg’s downtown core. Here’s a look at a few of his best shots.

The feeling in Winnipeg right now is unlike anything fans (at least millennials) have experienced before. For arguably their first time since returning to Winnipeg in 2011, the Jets have earned their way into a legitimate position to go all the way. It’s nice to see that after years of mediocrity, the city has a reason to deck themselves out in all white again.

And it might be a while before they revert back to their regular clothing.
