The NHL season is nearly upon us and expectations are high for the Philadelphia Flyers.

After missing out on the 2019 postseason, the Flyers shook things up by signing Kevin Hayes to a seven-year, $50 million contract and hiring long-time head coach Alain Vigneault to man the bench. The Flyers are being featured on the NHL Network’s Behind The Glass series, and hockey fans were treated with one of the most hype pump-up speeches they’ll hear from a head coach. Watch, as Vigneault attempts to fire up the lads ahead of the 2019-20 season.

We think he did a pretty good job but we’ll let you decide…

Well, it’s pretty clear how the Flyers’ Twitter account felt about the speech.

Let’s remember that this isn’t the first time the Flyers have been featured on a behind-the-scenes type of show. Peter Laviolette was behind the bench, trying to fire up his guys on HBO’s 24/7 not all that long ago. Let us warn you… this one’s not suited for work either:

We can’t wait to see the new-look Flyers this season.
