There are some people that are super proud of their country, and then there are people that are willing to stand for over three hours in support of their country. Yes, we are talking about one case of the nationalisms in particular.
The Bristol Blues were playing just another game when they suddenly found themselves in the middle of a tense standoff. Ahead of the game, all the players rose for the traditional singing on the national anthem, the only difference was they never sat down.
Yup, the standoff lasted longer than the game itself. And yes, this was likely just a little game for fun and show, and not an actual showing of patriotism.
Despite what appeared to be a bitter showdown, you can hear the players saying that they’re heading over to shake the fallen patriot’s hand.
