Hope that the Denver Nuggets liked how 2017 went, because 2018 is pretty much guaranteed to be a disappointment thanks to the person who runs their Twitter account.

Bay Area rapper Lil' B has been an active member of the sports community for the past few years due in large part to his signature "curses." Back in 2011, Kevin Durant infamously upset Lil' B by calling him a "wack rapper," which led to him receiving a personal curse from the Bay Area MC.

The curse worked (we guess), as Durant never won a championship in Oklahoma City. Upon Durant signing with the Warriors in 2016, Lil B' lifted the curse, as the former Thunder player was now playing for a team in the Bay Area, and surprise, surprise...KD won his first championship.

The lesson to take away from that is that Lil' B's not to be trifled with. It's just not worth the risk. Saturday, the Denver Nuggets tempted fate and chose to go out of their way and anger the "Based God" after they saw a tweet from Lil' B that included a list of teams that were in his good graces and noticed that they weren't on it.

Philadelphia made it onto the list, and they were ever so thankful for it.

As we said, the Nuggets were none too pleased by their omission, so they did the logical thing...upset the Based God by pretending not to know who he is.

The Nuggets may not have understood what they had done, but everyone else sure did.

Sure enough, Lil' B responded, placing the Nuggets on the 'Curse Warning List' with Kyle Kuzma, meaning they're not cursed just yet, but they're on the cusp.

Folks, and that's how you curse your franchise overnight.
