The Montreal Canadiens have dug themselves a hole.

The Tampa Bay Lightning came into the series on FIRE and powered through Montreal fast  to gain a 3-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Things aren’t looking too great for the Habs right now. The Bolts’ are only one win away from winning the Stanley Cup for the second year in a row. However, never say never Habs fans! There’s still some hope. Montreal held on to win game 4 on Monday night.

It’s not impossible to win three more games in a row! In fact, there’s a few players on the Canadiens that are pretty familiar with the same situation.

Nick Suzuki against the London Knights
In 2019, Nick Suzuki came up clutch for the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League. The Storm were down 3-0 before they pulled off a reverse sweep of the London Knights.

Tyler Toffoli against the San Jose Sharks

Toffolo did a complete 180 in 2014 for the Los Angeles Kings.  After scoring zero points in three straight losses, Toffoli put up 3 goals and 1 assists in the final 4 games.

Jonathan Drouin against the Quebec Remparts

The Halifax Mooseheads somehow found a way to force game 7 after being down 3-0! Jonathan Drouin scored in overtime in game 7 to put the cherry on top.

Anything can happen!
