Today in news about strong men, three WWE wrestlers decided to test their rather considerable strength. They weren’t pitted against one another, though, no. Instead, their collective strength was pooled together for a bout with a lion cub.
A lion cub? That’s cute, or so you may think. But watch as this lion, only two and a half years old, calmly defeats WWE NXT wrestlers Fabian Aichner, Killian Dain and Ricochet in a game of tug-of-war without even really budging an inch.
You know, Kobe Bryant once said, “If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.”. Likewise, there’s an Akon line that goes, “So if you see me out there with a bear and we fightin' / Then, go help the bear.”
With respect to Kobe and Akon, when the apocalypse comes and the human population has to fend for itself against the animal kingdom and other forces of nature, we’re taking the animals. This cub isn’t even fully grown! Really, an adult lion would take us like LeBron James and the Toronto Raptors.
Back in March, players from the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage tried this same challenge as well, proving no more likely to survive in a Planet of the Apes scenario than three WWE wrestlers.
