The Ottawa Senators have a lot of good prospects in their system that they’re hoping will help turn the organization around and one of the most highly touted prospects is Tim Stützle.

Stützle was drafted 3rd overall by the Sens in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, and after putting on a show at the World Juniors the 19-year-old is ready to show what he can do in the NHL.

Ahead of the rookie’s NHL debut on Friday night, we found out what his nickname is and it’s nowhere close to what you were thinking.

Not 'Timmy' or 'Timmy Stü', it’s 'Jimmy' or 'Jimmy Stü', and you can thank his roommate Brady Tkachuk for it.

The German rookie had five goals and 10 points in five games for Germany at the World Juniors and Sens fans are hoping he can make the same sort of impact right off the bat with his new squad.
