If you've ever asked a question to someone sitting at the front of a room with a number of people present, then you're going to have to pipe up if you don't have a microphone.

After the Oilers 3-2 overtime win against the Bruins on Thursday night, head coach Todd McLennan got a little frustrated with the Edmonton media members asking questions too quietly. According to TSN's Ryan Rishaug,  the Oilers' bench boss has struggled for some time trying to make out the questions.

So after Friday morning's skate, McLellan and the Edmonton media had some fun with each other.

First, Rob Tychkowski of the Edmonton Sun purposely asked a question quietly to McLellan in which the coach then answered in a silent manner.

If the Oilers hadn't won their last three games in a row, we might not be getting this light-hearted moment, but that's what happens when you win.

It's nice to see the lighter side of McLennan, who's no stranger to freaking out when the cameras are on.

Lead by captain Connor McDavid, the Oilers sit 3-2 on the season and will look to extend their winning streak on Saturday night when the defending Western Conference Champions, the Nashville Predators, come to town. Prior to puck drop, recently retired Jordin Tootoo will be honoured for all his endeavours in the Indigenous community.
