One game from Thursday night's slate in the NHL got the attention of hockey fans everywhere before, during and after the game.

Two of the best teams in the NHL squared off as the Blackhawks hosted the Penguins.

Those fans looking forward to seeing a competitive game between the two teams were left disappointed, though, as the Blackhawks absolutely steamrolled the Penguins 10-1.

In Brandon Saad's first game back with the Blackhawks since being traded, he recorded a hat trick.

His third goal of the game was a beauty as he took wonderful pass from Jonathan Toews and put it into the net.  He also took out the net and as Toews tried to avoid the net to reach Saad and celebrate with him, it took him out, too.

Thankfully the net didn't do any damage to either player, but it was quite entertaining watching Toews try to avoid it to no avail.

Plus, the Hawks had some fun with the failed celebration on Twitter, but the team got a lot of practice celebrating goals so it shouldn't be a problem going forward.
