With the NHL regular season winding down, teams in each conference are starting to separate themselves from the pretenders to contenders

In the NHL’s The Philadelphia Flyers have emerged out of the ultra-competitive Metropolitan Division. According to MoneyPuck.com, the Flyers have an 88% percent chance of making the playoffs, with the third seed in the Metro being the most likely position.

The Flyers offence has surged this season thanks in part to Claude Giroux’s resurgence, Jakob Voracek’s consistency, Sean Couturier’s breakout season, their young, mobile defence core, and the peskiness from Travis Konency.

Standing at 5’10’’ and 175 lbs, Konency has put together an impressive offensive season with 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points in 72 games while currently skating on a line with Giroux and Couturier. The numbers that the 21-year-old has put up is even more eye-opening when you factor in that he only averages 13:14 TOI at even strength per game. Earning the trust from head coach Dave Hakstol has been pivotal for the youngster, as he’s started to garnish time on the power play this season.

Thanks to Sam Donnellon, a columnist who covers the Flyers for Philly.com, Hakstol had a pretty hilarious look on his face he noticed Konecny playing a trick on a camera man during a scrum on Tuesday afternoon prior to the Flyers game in Detroit against the Red Wings.

Poor camera guy.

He’s just trying to do his job, and in comes Konecny with this grand idea that he’s going to hang a bunch of coat hangers onto his back while he tries to film an interview.

He's an agitator on and off the ice, folks. If you're a camerman and cover the NHL, be aware that the Flyers trickster might be up to no good.
