There are two types of wrestling fans; the ones who believe everything they’re seeing in front of them is truly happening and the ones who understand that there’s a storyline the wrestlers follow but also understand how athletic you need to be to survive as a professional. Then there are the people who believe wrestling is fake altogether… Anyways, to each their own.

Last week, Triple H returned to the ring at the Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and his return did not go as planned. Although Triple H and his tag team partner, Shawn Michaels, ended up defeating Kane and The Undertaker, the WWE executive now has to make a trip to the hospital to have surgery to repair torn pectoral muscle, which he suffered in the match.

On Monday, Triple H gave an update on his injury and it left quite the mark on him.

Sure, the storylines are scripted in professional wrestling, but let’s not forget that these are real human beings throwing their bodies off of things, into things and onto things just to put on a show for the fans and they’re doing a pretty great job considering most viewers believe that even the moves and injuries are fake.
