Twitter is a great place for sports fans to share their hot takes, get up to the minute information on any news that breaks and interact with athletes in a kind or rude way, depending on the type of person you are.

If you're the type of person that talks big behind a keyboard, be careful what you say because athletes are never afraid to respond and put fans in their place for saying something rude to them.

A Flames fan by the name of Tylor Dias learned that athletes can fire back at any time the hard way after he started a GoFundMe page to raise money to help the Flames buyout Troy Brouwer.

Tylor didn't tag Brouwer in the tweet, but the Flames player saw the tweet and responded in the perfect way.
There's no winning with Twitter trolls (Tylor's response to Brouwer's tweet proves that), but everyone needs to be held accountable for what they say behind a keyboard because these athletes go out there and lay it all on the line for their teammates and the fans, and they don't deserve the unwarranted social media criticism.
