The Leafs didn't do much in free agency, but they still managed to bring in a big name by way of a trade with the Colorado Avalanche.

Tyson Barrie gives the Leafs that right-handed defenceman fans have been long clamouring for and even though they had to give up Nazem Kadri to get him, he could be the piece that gets them out of the first round and possibly farther in the playoffs.

Whenever a new player is acquired or signed, one of the first questions fans want answered is what number will that player wear.  Monday, Barrie answered that question on Instagram by making a change to his profile picture.

Number 4, Barrie's previous number, has been retired by the Leafs (Red Kelly, Hap Day), so the change was necessary.  No. 94 has only been worn twice before Barrie in franchise history and the last time it was on the back of a Toronto jersey was in the 2006/07 season.
