The UNLV men’s baseball team won in walk-off fashion by edging the Fresno State Bulldogs 7-6 in NCAA Mountain West action on Saturday night.

Down 6-5 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rebels grabbed their eighth come-from-behind win on the year thanks to Jack-Thomas Wold’s walk off single that cashed in two runs. Wold finished the game going 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored, and got on base in four of his five at bats.

If one celebration wasn’t enough for the team, the Rebels decided to fire up a little Fortnite following their big win. Captured by hitting coach Patrick Armstrong, the Rebels watched as one of their teammates chalked up another big victory, this time coming in the locker room.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen athletes go crazy over the popular video game.

It was the Rebels seventh win in a row that pushed them to an impressive 10-1 record on the season.
