With it being one of the biggest tournaments on the tour and the first US Open since the death of 1960 US Open champion Arnold Palmer, they decided to do something special on the 18th hole in honour of Palmer.

The flag on the 18th hole features an image of Palmer tossing his visor into the air, just like he did after he captured the 1960 US Open title.

The flag on the 18th hole isn’t the only tribute to Palmer on the golf course. The netting around the final grandstand features the exact same image.

To top it all off, fans in attendance on Sunday received their very own Arnold Palmer replica player’s badge from 1960.

We’re in for a great finish, so you don’t want to miss it.
