The USA Cyclocross National Championships are currently taking place in Hartford, Connecticut this week and the weather certainly cooperated to help make the event as entertaining as possible. With hopes of making the course a mix between dangerous and really fun, the designer certainly did his job.

The way the weather has been as of late resulted in part of the course turning into a giant Slip ‘N Slide made entirely of mud. Of course, a slippery mud hill didn’t stop any of the participants at all.

The Slip ‘N Slide wasn’t much of an issue the following days due to the weather, but that didn’t mean there weren’t other slippery areas that the racer had to worry about during the race.

It's going to take more than wet mud to slow these racers down.
