The Vancouver Canucks’ AHL affiliate the Utica Comets host the Tampa Bay Lightning’s AHL affiliate Syracuse Crunch on Saturday night but it’s not going to be your typical game night.

The Comets are hosting Save of the Day Night on Saturday to benefit the Thea Bowman House, a non-profit organization that has served low-income, at-risk children and families in and around the city of Utica for more than 20 years. For Saturday night's game, the team will be doing something special for the non-profit organization.

The team will be rocking some special glow-in-the-dark uniforms for the game, which will be auctioned off later on, but the best part about the special uniforms has to be the goalie equipment to go with them.

It's certainly going to be a cool sight to witness once the lights dim and the team hits the ice for the pre-game warm-ups on Saturday night. It’s too bad the entire game can’t be played with the lights dimmed because everything about these uniforms is fantastic.
