Victor Oladipo has taken his game to a new level since joining the Indiana Pacers.

The 25-year-old was a key piece in the blockbuster deal that sent Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder and so far the deal has worked out in favour of Indiana. In his first 23 games with the Pacers, the former second overall pick is averaging 23.1 points, 4.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, career highs in every category except for the assist column.

On Wednesday night, the Silver Spring, Maryland native kept his hot streak going by dropping a game-high 27 points, including the game-winning basket, in a 98-96 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Near the end of the game, Oladipo missed a free throw and he punished himself for the miss during his post-game interview.

Even though he drilled the game-winner, Victor Oladipo did pushups during his postgame interview because he missed a free throw.

Although he finished with a game-high 27 points and hit the game-winning shot that led the Pacers to a victory, Oladipo wasn’t going to forget about his missed free throw just because they came away with the victory and decided to drop and do 10 push-ups during the post-game interview.
