Vince Carter just finished his 21st season in the NBA and the 42-year-old isn't ready to call it a career just yet.

Carter, who averaged 7.4 points per game (his second-highest total since the 2013/14 season) confirmed he's coming back for a 22nd season on his podcast, 'Winging It'.

Carter didn't say who he'll be signing with, but didn't rule out a return to the Hawks, who are an up-and-coming team with a ton of talent.

Raptors fans would love it if Carter returned to Toronto for his final NBA season, but the fact that he confirmed he's coming back for at least one more year was enough to get basketball fans everywhere excited.

If (when) Carter plays next season, he'll officially set the record for longest career in NBA history.
