The day Toronto Blue Jays fans have been waiting for has finally arrived as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is set to join the big league club in Toronto on Friday evening when they open their three-game series against the Oakland A’s.
Guerrero has been the No. 1 ranked prospect in the Blue Jays’ system for the past few years, but last year he took over sole possession of the top prospect in all of baseball. With the news coming through that Vlad Jr. is officially heading to Toronto to join the Blue Jays, his father, Vlad Guerrero Sr., shared a heartfelt message on Twitter shortly after the news broke.
If he’s anything like his father, Blue Jays fans have every reason to be this excited about the promotion.
