They say heroes get remembered, but legends never die.

By ‘they’ we mean the dreamed-up version of Babe Ruth in the Sandlot, but it’s still some pretty legit advice.

The Washington Capitals are currently tied 2-2 with the Carolina Hurricanes in a best-of-seven series in a quest to defend their Stanley Cup title, but whether they get bounced in the first round or go on to win it all, their 2018 Stanley Cup win will always be legendary.

While we all remember Ovi’s Cup shenanigans, one player whose Stanley Cup celly was seriously iconic, was T.J. Oshie

The Stanley Cup Parade was a particularly legendary moment for Oshie, when he introduced the #OshieChug that both puzzled and thrilled hockey fans.

Now, this iconic moment is being recreated.

Ryan Kerrigan, linebacker for Washington’s NFL team, was in the stands at the Caps’ Game 5 against the Canes, and brought back the move.

#OshieChug @kerrigan91 style!

While the dominance of lower seeds has been the narrative so far this playoffs, this has to fire up the Caps to really push back against the Canes.

If that’s not inspiration to repeat, we don’t know what is.
