Did you know that Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is the oldest head coach in the NFL? This may be surprising to hear if you didn’t already know, because you definitely can’t tell by looking at him bouncing around on the sidelines.

The seemingly youthful Carroll is 68 years old. For a 68 –year-old, he is very spry. We found out on Sunday that he’s more than just energetic though, he’s also tough as nails. While the teams were warming up, Carroll was struck by an errant football.

He hardly even reacted, he didn’t even go down to the ground… just kept running!

He did have to receive medical attention, and actually needed stitches. Luckily it was early enough that he was able to make it out for the ‘Hawks clash with New Orleans – another feat not every 68-year-old would be able to do after receiving such a cut.
